Letter from Jean-François Noubel: Now time for money

Dear Friends,

Early this summer some of you received an email from me called "Now time for money". For the first time since I committed myself to building the next monetary system I asked for financial support to accelerate our work, i.e. the creation of the next currency system that will free humanity from the current scarce debt-based interest-based monetary system. Wonderful answers and suggestions came from many of you. It opened fruitful conversations that may quickly lead to conscious financial support.

The current financial crisis seems to tell us how accurate and urgent is our work. It is an eye opener for many people. Reinjecting more of the same money in the old apparel will always lead to the same crisis. The Titanic didn't sink because it hurt an iceberg, it sank because it was badly designed and presumed unsinkable. It came from a belief system. Fixing it was worthless although everyone would want to fix it during the catastrophe. Trying to raise the current banking system today is like trying to raise the Titanic. Our leaders don't understand it is sinking because of its intrinsic bad design and structure, they think it's the bad luck iceberg. To build on this metaphor, our work consists in releasing a swarm of sail boats rather than fixing the old giant liner. Distributed models don't jeopardize everyone's life when a mistake is made, they belong to the people and via distributed power, they do not depend on crazy decisions of the few, they are much more resilient. Next swarm currencies are highly adaptive and interconnected, they will repattern and adjust any time there is an imbalance, just like a swarm. They are the response to today's world financial and political crisis.

We, at TheTransitioner.org are working hard to deliver this next currency system. Everyday people and organizations ask us when we are ready to launch.  More than ever we need to move fast (without precipitation).

Five millions dollars in conventional money will help us finish the job quickly and efficiently. Beyond these practical aspects, having the old conventional money offered for its own transmutation is a powerful symbol and ritual.

Last but not least, people willing to invest their wealth in whatever form (money, time, competencies...) should know this is the most powerful and fruitful investment they will ever make. We are available to share what ROW (Return on Wealth) is to be expected.

As you know I am committed to create the next monetary system for humanity.

Time has come for this project and our group of pioneers to be
financially supported in order to make our project a global reality.
Conventional money is required to support our team until the next
monetary system has become self-sufficient. $5 millions is the number,
philanthropic or invested. It is a fantastic opportunity to use a drop
of conventional money as a leverage that will offer humanity access to
its next stage of consciousness. $5 millions is the leverage.

The next monetary system will allow any community to create the
currencies they need for their own market place. Because it works in a
distributed manner, its mass will adjust to the market needs. No more
undermonetization, no more centralized authorities deciding who is worth
borrowing and pay interest. No more usury, but a free global system that
will belong to the commons, easy to use via computers and cell phones
(i.e. accessible to most humanity). In the next years there will be
millions of currencies: local, regional, global, citizen, corporate...
Everyone will use them, in Western countries as well as South countries
because most people and organizations are undermonetized. The interface
will be so sexy and user friendly that it will just be irresistible.

For us at TheTransitioner.org it is a great honor to be the pioneers
serving this unavoidable evolution.

Somewhere in this world there are persons who would be happy to sign a
check and join this fantastic adventure if they knew about it. There is
no reason why we wouldn't find each other. I am asking the universe, I
am asking you dear friends to support us. Amount is not big, impact is
