Global Wisdom Driven Organization

Definition

A Global Wisdom Driven Organization (GWDO) is an organization that operates at the collective level from descending, transcendent wisdom.

Fundamental characteristics

It is global, meaning at least one of the three following conditions are met:

  1. Participants are connected to the whole world (internet)
  2. Participants cooperate remotely (they don't necessarily live in the same place)
  3. Participants can scale up to large numbers and yet cohere


It operates from wisdom. It means the core members, those whom leadership and wisdom are recognized by others, have built a strong personal practice to operate from descending, inspiring wisdom, as a transcendent and collective experience. These members have enough of a practice so that they don't operate from vital urge, fear, ego, anger, personal interest.

It is an organization that operates from Global Collective Intelligence. It means that participants are all litterate in the practice made to support these new social species. GCI organizations are distributed, peer-to-peer, self-aware, chaordic. They rely on socialware, i.e. any online software (preferably open source) that allows a community to self-manage, self-reflect, and be aware of itself (holopticism).

Conditions for Global Wisdom Driven Organizations to exist

The following conditions is a shortlist that needs to be completed and refined.

An ecosystem built on diversity: people need to cooperate from who they are, and from where they are in their growth journey. This means a GWDO has shifted from power structures (as know in Pyramidal Collective Intelligence) to empowerment structures. In such structures people find their right placement. This is the place from which they will operate as who they really are, in their highest creative potential. The ecosystem is built on concentric circles of participants willing to engage at different levels (responsibilities, acountabilities, social contracts, expertise, etc), each of them representing a complex space of natural hierarchies. Free currencies: the conventional mainstream scarce currency system cannot work and serve a GWDO. Multiple free currencies that can express the diversity of flows and the different forms of wealth are necessary (acknowledgeable wealth, measurable wealth, tradable wealth).

A core team of pioneers: these are the people who engage themselves, 24/7, to pioneer the next forms of consciousness and who explore how they unfold as new social systems and living organizations. They hold a specific set of commitments for themselves and with others. They can keep their structure of consciousness in the ordinary world while serving evolution. They don't push, they don't try to convince, they have no agenda for others, they just are who they are. It is their very being that inspires others because they see more freedom, more expression, more creativity, more joy. Therefore their role is also to find practical ways to inhabitate the next spaces of consciousness. They are not just 'spiritual leaders'.

The practice of Internet and socialware: no organization can be global, self-aware, and self-managed with conventional practices and technologies. The mastery of current socialware, and a proactive R&D, are a necessary condition for these GWDO to exist, just like reading and writing was a necessary condition for past pyramidal collective intelligence organizations to exist.
